CAREER OPPORTUNITIES Part-Time Courier - Palm Beach County
PART-TIME COURIER - PALM BEACH COUNTY SUMMARY Performs a variety of routine and clerical duties. Drives a company provided vehicle to make regular pick ups & deliveries of bank-related transactions and makes special trips when necessary. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Delivers mail and other financial institution documents within and outside the Bank, primarily at customer locations. Conducts regular stops at the post office, and delivers and picks up boxes and different types of documents and other items as needed. Arranges for auto maintenance of the company vehicle. Sorts and distributes mail deliveries into appropriate mailboxes at branch. Assists preparation of express delivery service packages. Moving boxes of office supplies or equipment Assists with other financial institution projects as needed and as directed by Supervisor. Performs other duties as assigned to contribute to the overall operation and profitability of the bank. Completes all mandatory compliance-related training within required deadlines. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE High School diploma or equivalent. Prior courier/messenger experience preferred. OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES Ability to read traffic signs, directions and route maps. Able to drive a vehicle on major highways and surface streets. Must possess strong and friendly verbal communications and interpersonal skills due to frequency of customer interaction. Knowledge of Palm Beach County geographic area. Banking knowledge is preferred.
